REVIVE’s ability to carry out our mission depends entirely upon each student’s diligence in meeting their financial agreement with us. Your tuition covers the cost of faculty instruction and leadership, daily operations, Orientation, and teaching materials (books, video notes, etc.)
At Revive, we live on the “cutting edge” of finances as many of you do. As money comes in, it is utilized for ministry. We have no reserve account for “rainy days” and ask that you, as a critical part of our ministry, carry this burden with us. Pray for all of our finances, invite people to support you and the school, make necessary sacrifices, get a part-time job, etc. in order to pay your school tuition on time.
Handling your finances with integrity is key for your ministry. Financial maturity is the “kindergarten” of spiritual things. “So, if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?” (Luke 16:11-12). A positive restatement goes like this, “If you are trustworthy with worldly wealth then you can be trusted with the true riches and property of the kingdom.”
In light of the above I choose to handle all of my finances with integrity so that I am able to pay my school tuition in the manner agreed upon (below) and on time. I understand that all of my tuition must be paid in full in order to graduate from school, and I will regularly communicate with the Financial Department as to any changes in my financial status or need to amend my payment plan.
Recommitment refers to a point at the start of the second semester (January) where you “recommit” to Revive leadership and your fellow students that both you and REVIVE are confident that you will complete the full payment agreement by the specified deadline. This is the point in the school year where you have become an integral part of our larger ministry and where your continued participation (or lack thereof) will meaningfully impact the larger body of Revive. For this reason, at this point, we ask that you “recommit” and ensure that you will meet your payment agreement in full.
At the beginning of second semester you will receive a link to an online form which is the official document you must sign and submit to recommit to Revive. On this document you will provide us a credit card to guarantee that you will complete the financial agreement for the 2018 – 2019 school year. Should you not complete the fundraising minimum by the deadline, you will have the option of charging the card on file, providing an alternate card or writing a check to complete you financial obligations. (See “Monthly Payment Agreement” below for full details.)
If you decide you are not able to meet your full payment agreement by the specified deadline, or if for other reasons you must withdraw from the program, then you have the following options:
